Award of the Faculty of Biological and Agricultural Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences

We are pleased to inform that the team of Dr Anna Kotrys, Dr Lukasz Borowski, Dr Zbigniew Pietras, and Dr Maciej Szewczyk led by Dr hab. Roman Szczesny, received the Faculty II Award for a series of studies on the mechanisms regulating antisense transcripts in human mitochondria and the role of mitochondrial double-stranded RNA. Prime Minister’s Award

Dr. Anna Kotrys received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for the outstanding doctoral dissertation entitled “Functional analysis of C6orf203 protein, a new factor involved in RNA metabolism in human mitochondria”. New mass spectrometers in IBB

We are pleased to announce that Laboratories led by Prof. Michał Dadlez have expanded their infrastructure with new spectrometers. START Scholarship

Dr Anna Detman received prestigious scholarship in the START program organized by the Foundation for Polish Science. Congratulations! Dr Anna Detman obtained PhD in 2019 at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She received MSc in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Chemistry at Warsaw University of Technology. She completed (…)
