HR Excellence in Research
Recruitment for a research position takes place through an open competition. When selecting candidates, the Institute follows the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, as well as the principles of Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment (OTM-R). Consideration is given to excellence in research, scientific independence, academic record, mobility, as well as the candidate’s experience in other scientific areas. All competent candidates are encouraged to apply, regardless of gender, race or ethnicity, religion or worldview, disability, age or sexual orientation.
The Institute has initiated the procedure for implementing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R):
- The Institute has endorsed the 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers through the EURAXESS portal.
- The HRS4R Working Group was established (Order No. 10/2024 of the Director of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS dated 07.02.2024 on the establishment of the HRS4R Working Group).
- The HRS4R Steering Committee was established (Order number 9/2024 of the Director of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS dated 07.02.2024 on the establishment of the HRS4R Steering Committee).
- A gap analysis was conducted and an initial action plan was prepared.
