We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics has been awarded the Third Prize in the 3W (Water, Hydrogen, Carbon) – World Leader 3W Competition in the SCIENCE category.

The award application included innovative research conducted in the teams of Prof. Joanna Kruszewska (W – water, W – carbon) and Dr. Anna Sikora (W – hydrogen).

The awards were presented on December 7, 2022, during the gala of the 2nd 3W Congress organized by the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego as part of the Idea 3W activities.

On behalf of IBB PAN, the award was received by Prof. Joanna Kruszewska (Laboratory of Fungal Biology) and Dr. Anna Sikora and Dr. Anna Detman (Laboratory of White Biotechnology).
