Founding opportunities
The National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU (NCP) supports the participation of Polish research units, enterprises and other entities in the Horizon Europe programme. NCP experts present the Polish position at the meetings of programme committees and other bodies related to the implementation of the EU’s scientific and innovation policy. The NCP closely cooperates with the Office in Brussels and participates in key events and consultations regarding the Horizon Europe programme.

Polish Science Contact Agency “PolSCA” of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels
The Polish Science Contact Agency promotes, facilitates and fosters participation of the entire Polish R&D community in European projects and initiatives, and in particular in reinforcing the position of Poland in European Union framework programmes.

European Research Council (ERC)

NCN is a government agency, supervised by the Ministry of Education and Science, set up in 2011 to support basic research in Poland. The Polish National Agency For Academic Exchange (NAWA)
NAWA is a new institution that was established on October 1st, 2017. European Founds – PO WER
The Foundation for Polish Science has been in operation since 1991. It is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit institution which pursues the mission of supporting science. It is the largest source of science funding in Poland outside of the state budget. The main motto of FNP is “Supporting the best, so that they can become even better”.
Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS)
The first call for applications in the PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowships Programme for excellent researchers at the Polish Academy of Sciences is now open.
The PASIFIC programme offers attractive 2-year postdoctoral fellowships to excellent researchers of any nationality, working in any scientific discipline. Each PASIFIC fellow will be granted a monthly allowance of approx. €2,500 net and, if applicable, an additional family allowance. In addition, PASIFIC fellows will be provided with a research budget of up to €93,000 per project.
