With deep sorrow, we regret to inform you that on October 15, 2022, prof. dr hab. Grażyna Palamarczyk passed away. The professor was an outstanding, internationally recognized specialist in the field of glycobiology.
She worked at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences from 1970,
and from 1992 she was the head of the Fungal Glycobiology Laboratory.
Prof. Grażyna Palamarczyk was a long-time member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a long-time head of the School of Molecular Biology at IBB PAN. She was a friend and mentor to us, who was fascinated by the world, people and life.

The memorial service will be held on October 20, 2022, at 1.15 pm at the Funeral Home at Powązki Military Cemetery.

She will remain in our memory.
