IBB PAS adopts an institutional Open Science Policy
Following the principles of Open Science ensures that research findings reach the widest possible audience. To support the open sharing of research results – including both scientific articles and research data – IBB PAS has now adopted an institutional Open Science Policy.

In accordance with the Policy, starting January 1, 2027, every scientific article affiliated with IBB PAS will be deposited in the IBB Repository and made available in a manner consistent with its legal status, while all research data associated with the article will be deposited in external data repositories. Openness of these resources will follow the rule “as open as possible, as closed as necessary”. This approach will enable better use and re-use of the results and ensure greater transparency in research practices, leading to greater social impact.
We encourage everyone to read the full text of the document: Open Science Policy of IBB PAS.
