IBB Day and Scientific Session 2025

In the first half of October, two important scientific events took place at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS: IBB Day (October 7) and the IBB Scientific Session 2025 (October 8–10).

This year’s IBB Day was more special than usual, as it was the final event of the Institute’s 70th anniversary celebrations. The program included: the award ceremony of the IBB PAS Scientific Council, awards for current employees and acknowledgments for former distinguished employees, popular science lectures, lectures by authors of award-winning experimental works, and a discussion panel entitled “Quo vadis IBB?” devoted to the future of science, communication, and cooperation at the Institute.

Immediately after this event, the IBB Scientific Session 2025 took place, during which laboratory and facility managers presented their latest research work. The program also included two poster sessions with a record number of over 100 presentations. The best posters presented by doctoral students and employees were awarded.

We would like to thank all participants for their commitment, inspiring discussions, and active participation in both events!
