We are pleased to announce that dr hab. Anna Sikora has been elected as a member of the Council of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley Cluster. The election for a 3-year term was made by the General Assembly on May 15, 2025 (resolution no. 1/05/2025 of the MDW Cluster, dated 15.05.2025).

The Mazovian Hydrogen Valley (MDW) was established on the initiative of PKN Orlen S.A. in April 2022. The Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been a member of MDW since November 2022.

The goal of MDW is to develop, implement and disseminate hydrogen technologies, as well as educate specialized personnel and support regulatory processes in the Polish economy. Hydrogen Valleys as areas corresponding to administrative regions, according to the EU Hydrogen Strategy, are part of the European Hydrogen Ecosystem.
