The Stanford SPARK program for biomedicine is being launched in Poland. Recruitment until March 20.

A mentoring program developed at Stanford University for scientific teams that have an idea for a new therapy, potential drug, vaccine, diagnostic test or other medical device is being launched in Poland. IBB PAS participates in the project JANE-2 – a programme fostering expertise on cancer

JANE-2 is the second Joint Action of the EU on Networks of Expertise on Cancer. IBB researchers have for the first time described the transport of ribosomes into the bacterial prespore

A team from the Laboratory of Translatomics of the IBB PAS, in collaboration with scientists from the University of Wrocław, have discovered and described for the first time in the literature the spatially and temporally synchronised transport of ribosomes into the prespore of Bacillus subtilis. 10 NCN projects for scientists from IBB PAN

We are pleased to announce the successes of scientists at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, who have received 10 grants in the National Science Center OPUS LAP/Weave, OPUS and PRELUDIUM competitions. In the adjudicated OPUS 26+LAP/Weave competitions, 1737 applications were submitted, of which 318 were qualified for funding. (…)

Polish flag goes to Antarctica

Speaker of Parliament Szymon Hołownia handed over the Polish flag from the Sejm to scientists from IBB PAS, who will deliver the national symbol to the H.
