We are pleased to announce that Dr. Aleksandra Głowacka-Rutkowska, who in October 2022 defended her doctoral thesis at the IBB, has received for her work the Second Prize in this year’s INNOWATOR MAZOWSZA competition, in the category Innovative Scientist. She also received four Partner Awards in the same competition. The thesis was entitled “Selected properties of obligate lytic bacteriophages of Staphylococcus aureus in the context of research on the therapeutic potential of bacteriophages” and was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. hab. Małgorzata Łobocka in the Laboratory of Bacteriophage Biology at IBB PAS. Best congratulations to the laureate!
