Does civilization serve us well? – one-day symposium

We invite you to a one-day symposium entitled: “Does civilization serve us well? A biologist’s, doctor’s and psychologist’s perspective”, which will be held on April 10, 2025 at 9:55 am online (in Polish). The organizers are the Institute of Psychology of the Maria Grzegorzewska University, the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS and the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Biochemical Society.

How is civilization changing our lives? Did you know that since 1900, life expectancy has increased from 40 to 80 years? The world population has quadrupled, and the employment structure has changed dramatically. Agriculture has become more efficient, but at the same time the environment has become more polluted. How do these dynamic changes affect our health, psyche and biology?

Join us for a unique MINI-SYMPOSIUM, where biologists, doctors and psychologists will present their perspectives on the impact of civilization on humans. This is a great opportunity to understand how the development of the world shapes our lives. Join us and discover fascinating things!

The conference will be held online, registration is required: https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/PBIpGm-pTTqjZ8meDyf-Dg
