We are pleased to announce that Dr. hab. Agata Starosta and Dr. Anna Detman-Ignatowicz have been nominated for the prestigious award “Personality of the Year 2024” in the category Science. The nominations were granted by the Editorial Board, which includes Arlena Sokalska (Editor-in-Chief of “Polska Metropolia Warszawska”), Stanislaw Sowa (Editor-in-Chief of “Nowiny”) and Beata Modzelewska (Editor-in-Chief of “Tygodnik Ostrołęcki”).

Personality of the Year is a prestigious competition that has been organized for years throughout Poland by regional newspapers and websites belonging to Polska Press. In the Mazovian voivodeship, the competition is conducted by Polska Metropolia Warszawska, www.polskanews.pl, Echo Dnia, Tygodnik Ostrołęcki and city and county services www.naszemiasto.pl.

The competition will end with a gala ceremony at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, and the winners will be presented in a celebratory book.
